Man vs Nature

Log start: 1:19pm December 10th 2008

Lots and lots....and LOTS of wind today.... mixed with some rain but the wind is the main problem... as i was getting out of my PHI 108 class that ended at 12:45, the rain started to get harder so i, as most people did... opened their umbrella xD

When the next gush of wind came, i saw 2 peoples umbrellas fly out of their hands (i laughed inside very hard and started to tear, or maybe it could of been the rain) and everyone else's (including my awesome indestructable ikea umbrella) flipped inside out... usually my umbrella has a little lock that prevents it from doing that but this time it was a hardcore super flip that forced me to dual-hand wield my umbrella :(

do you know how much it takes to flip an ikea umbrella!? the wind has to be like 40mph!!!

aiya... and if that wasn't the worse part i had to hold my umbrella at a 0º angle so it wouldn't flip while walking past the academic mall when everyone ends class... *sigh*

good job global warming. it's 15º one day then 55º the next....

on top of that... i almost flew into some girl because of the wind... not saying that's a bad thing but that's not how you start conversations with a girl lol
