Miso Soup

So it was the 4th of July yesterday :D
Was stumbling in my kitchen to see what i could possibly have as a snack and behold.... first thing i found was a pack of bonito flakes :P So i made some miso soup.

Miso Soup

Ingredients
-Bonito flakes/dried bonito+shaver
-2 large scoops of miso paste (dark miso = more flavor , light miso = lighter flavor)
-(optional) slices of beef, tofu, seaweed

Boil 4 cups of water and turn the heat down to simmer.
Add bonito flakes and wait until they sink to the bottom and then strain out the flakes.
Add miso and secondary ingredients and we're done :)

Very easy to make but remember not to boil the flakes or the paste or the texture will be rough.

Total time to make including preparation will be around 10-20 mins depending on how much you make or if you shave your own bonito flakes :D
