"Ain't No Stressin"

Log start: 2:50pm November 25th 2008

So, im done with classes today! One more day of class to go until one of Stony Brook's only breaks begin... One of the things that i've thought about this week goes back to the time where i posted about how time goes so fast.

The title of this blog isn't of my quotes but if i was a little more gangsterish, i think i would say it more. Ain't no stressin.... Why stress yourself, i ask to my self-concious all the time. Is it because you procrastinate a lot and won't get your work done?
See, there are many types of procrastinators, i don't know each type but i can tell you mine. My type of procrastination actually stimulates my mind patterns so i actually produce better work under stress! "Aiya, Brian you're so stupid!"

I know, i tell myself that all the time.

There's a Cantonese saying that is one of my favorite of all time.
The direct translation goes like "Once the bridge enters the port, it will go straight by itself"

it means that you don't need to be a worry wort all of the time, sometimes you just need to relax and go with the flow. Although that quote doesn't guarantee that you hit a few bumps before going straight, and that happens sometimes too. But if you are still alive after those bumps, you're going to be ok. If you sink before that, buy a new boat and rethink your life. LOL.

Although that doesn't mean that you should go into a test without studying... doesn't work that way. You need some general information like... where the port is located, which direction your ship is traveling and etc. If you go into a test blind, you'll just fail. So i still study a bit to get ready xD

Sometimes you just need to relax, go take a nap and watch a few dramas.
